The earth faces a serious food waste problem. While a lot of the food that goes to waste is on the supply side, we as consumers can do our part to reduce food waste as well.
With the help of the air ventilating through your house and some time, you can reduce food waste simply by preserving the taste in your leftover herbs. When herbs are oxidized and dry, they are safe from mold and bacteria, and will keep their potency for at least 6-12 months.
Torka is a herb drying rack designed with the intention of contributing to sustainability by giving food waste a useful second life. The rack is made of 1mm stainless steel, birch wood and natural rubber.
